nothing worse than a review of good sound waste your time with the "cons" of the product. so out with it. Cons: only One obvious thing, pouring coffee in Cup with lid down/closed pot causes oozing. simply lift the cover slightly when pouring to resolve. No biggy .... otherwise, I'm happy with it. I had very little to no obvious problem with "plastic" taste tainting even the first brew coffee. Note: I had a little "tooth" in the faceplate chrome. scarcely
